The attic of this home in Endicott, NY had some insulation in place but it was inadequate.

Along with air sealing, we did an open blow of 10 inches of cellulose insulation over the existing insulation.  With the additional insulation in place, this home will be both more comfortable and energy efficient.

This project involved insulating the rim joist of a home in Endicott, NY.

The rim joist was sprayed with 2 inches of closed cell foam,  This will cut down on drafts and help make the home more comfortable.

The existing insulation was removed.  The attic was then air sealed and 14 inches of cellulose insulation was blown in.  The home will now be more comfortable and will use less energy.

The fiberglass insulation in the attic of this home in Endicott, NY wasn't adequate to keep the home comfortable.

We removed the fiberglass and air sealed the attic.  12 inches of cellulose insulation was then blown in.  This will do a better job keeping the home comfortable and will lower energy usage.
