This home in Endicott, NY had a walk up attic with old fiberglass insulation.

We sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and 2 inches to the gable ends.  Along with other aspects of a larger project, this will help keep the home more comfortable and energy efficient than before.

The amount of foam was inadequate and we were brought in to help.  We did an open blow of 10 inches of cellulose on to of the foam.  This will make up for the foam being too thin and , as a result, will make the rooms below considerably more comfortable.
