This Laid Stone Foundation was completely uninsulated in this home. The homeowner was very uncomfortable and had high energy bills trying to keep the home heated in the winter. The air leakage that was taking place was what was causing the homeowner to be uncomfortable. Foam It Insulation proposed to completely insulate the basement by using Spray Foam Insulation and applying it directly to the Laid Stone Foundation.

When rooms are above the garage, they tend to be poorly protected from the cold in the winter and the warmth in the summer. When the garage ceiling is insulated, not only do you get to be more comfortable all around, but you even get to enjoy warmer floors in the winter.
An insulated garage will make the homeowner much more comfortable year round. The ceiling of the garage being spray foamed will help the floors of the rooms above be warmer in the winter and it will also help reduce the heating and cooling bills. This can also help reduce the amount of noise heard from the garage.
This homeowner had some fiberglass insulation in the attic, but it wasn't keeping the home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Sadly, the fiberglass batts don't do much for insulation and tend to act like a large air filter, which explains why some of it is such a dingy color rather than the pink we all know well.
We removed the fiberglass batts and completely air sealed this attic before open blowing our TruSoft cellulose into the open attic. Now, the temperatures within the home will be much more stablized and enjoyable for these homeowners.
