Yet another uninsulated attic. These new homeowners took the bull by the horns and had us out right after their closing date. We came right out, did the evaluation of the whole home and now we are making them more comfortable for years to come. This home will now be more protected from the weather and also in the event of a fire it will be harder for it to burn down so the family is now safer as well.
Here we have another uninsulated attic. These new homeowners took the bull by the horns and had us out right after their closing date. This home in Binghamton, NY was extremely drafty and uncomfortable. The homeowner had us do an assessment and they were astounded by how much air was leaking from their home.
We proposed an installation of TruSoft Cellulose Insulation to the exterior walls. The homeowner agreed that it was a great idea. We installed the insulation from the outside of the home, underneath the siding, and then reattached the siding so it looks as if nothing changed.
A lot of the air escaping from homes is going out the attic. The attic can be easily fixed because it's a relatively open space in most homes where insulation work can be done. Whether you go ahead with spray foam insulation, like this homeowner, or trusoft cellulose insulation, both products will give the desired effect which is a much more comfortable and less drafty home.
Another attic being insulated with spray foam insulation. If this many homeowners are making the switch it must be a good choice right? Right! Spray foam insulation will air seal and insulate your home much more efficiently than a lot of the other insulating products on the market such as fiberglass.
