The attic of this home in Binghamton, NY had some cellulose insulation but not nearly enough.
The existing insulation was moved long enough to air seal the attic. After it was put back, 12 addition inches of cellulose insulation was blown in over what was there. The air sealing plus the additional insulation will make the home more comfortable and reduce energy usage.
