Insulation Services Photo Album: Basement Spray Foam Insulation in Binghamton, NY

When the homeowner of this two-story home in Binghamton, NY scheduled a home comfort evaluation with Foam It Insulation, she knew the home had good insulation in most places, but was not happy with the energy efficiency of the home. During Jim's evaluation, he confirmed the attic and walls did in fact have adequate insulation. However, the only insulation found in the basement was on the rim joist of the home. Jim proposed installing an additional 2 inches of our closed cell spray foam insulation on the top 5 feet of the basement walls, which would then be painted with fire-resistant paint. This work was installed by foreman Mike Murphy and his crew.
