This Binghamton, NY homeowner was having issues with a very wet basement. Our solution to the problem was to encapsulate the basement with our CleanSpace. We installed our Drainage mat and TerraBlock system then used our Closed Cell Spray foam to adhere the CleanSpace to the walls of the foundation to ensure a tight seal.
This Binghamton, NY homeowner had Fiberglass batts in the attic, but cool air in the summer and hot air in the winter were not being properly and comfortably maintained. For this home, we removed the old fiberglass and air sealed the attic. We used our one-part foam to seal top plates and around light fixtures, as well as spraying 2 inches of closed-cell spray foam to the rim joists to create a seal where air is no longer able to escape. We then did an open blow 14 inches of TruSoft Cellulose to the attic flat. This will help insulate the home nicely so the cool air in the summer and the hot air in the winter that these homeowners pay for doesn't escape out and make their home more comfortable, as well as more energy and fuel-efficient.
This Binghamton, NY home was lacking insulation in the basement, which caused the house to be a bit chillier than desired during the winter months. The basement foundation needed insulating as well. 2 inches of our Closed Cell Spray Foam was applied to the foundation walls and then covered with our fire proof spray as the walls would remain exposed.
These Binghamton, NY homeowners were having their roof redone and wanted to have Spray Foam applied to the ceiling before having the roof redone. We sprayed 2 inches of our Closed Cell Spray Foam on the ceiling to give a good layer of insulation for this home to keep it comfortable!!
This Binghamton, NY homeowner had recently purchased his house to find that there was very little insulation in the attic space. We proposed to air seal this inaccessible attic space and open blow our TruSoft Cellulose insulation to make these homeowners much warmer in the winter.
Our crew carefully removed the siding and created access to the attic. They climbed in the access they created and air sealed the attic flat so air can no longer leak out of the attic, then proceeded to do an open blow of 14 inches of our TruSoft cellulose insulation. We then sealed the access we created and replaced the siding as carefully as it was removed.
The end result is a much warmer home for the winter, and will even keep the home cooler when the hot weather returns!
