Endicott, NY - Tru-Soft Cellulose Insulation

This Endicott, NY homeowner had basement walls with little to no insulation in them, as well as empty rim joists, and much of the attic had sparse insulation as well.

The basement walls, as well as the rim joists were sprayed with 2 inches of Closed Cell Spray Foam.

We then focused on the attic space. We air sealed the attic before doing an open blow of 10 inches of cellulose to the attic flat, we also did a dense pack of Tru-Soft cellulose to the cantilever from outside.

Endicott, NY - Closed Cell Spray Foam

This Endicott, NY homeowner had multiple crawl spaces beneath the home, as well as a full basement.

The attic had 3 inches of blown cellulose in it already, we air sealed and added an additional 10 inches of our Tru-Soft cellulose insulation to it.

The crawl spaces all had our 6 mil poly laid to the floor and a foot up the walls, then spray foamed in place to create a vapor barrier. We also spray foamed the crawl space walls, as well as the foundation walls of the basement.

Endicott, NY - Closed Cell Spray Foam

This Endicott, NY two story home had been made into a two family home. The homeowner was renting out one side to his daughter and her husband, but the entire home was suffering from high energy costs, despite having weatherization done to the home previously. The walls of the home had been dense packed with cellulose insulation, but the attic was still lacking one important aspect - air sealing. We proposed to spray our Closed Cell Spray Foam to the roof deck of the home with 4 inches of spray foam, effectively air sealing to stop air from leaking out of the attic/roof space where the air the homeowner and tenant were paying to heat was escaping and being replaced with cold air, making the thermostat higher but with very little to show for it inside the home. We also proposed to spray foam the basement walls, as well as the rim joists to effectively stop the cold air from leaking in and causing discomfort to the people and pets inside the home, we sprayed 2 inches of our Closed Cell Spray foam to the rim joists as well as the walls of the basement.

Closed Cell Spray Foam - Attic in Endicott, NY

This homeowner in Endicott, NY had stucco siding which limited options for insulation, but the attic of this Cape Cod home was in terrible shape insulation wise as the old insulation batts had fallen down from the slopes of the attic and into the small side attics. This left the homeowners very cold due to the inadequate and old insulation in the home.

For this home, we sprayed 4 inches of closed cell spray foam on the side attic walls, the gable ends with 2 inches of closed cell spray foam, and 2 inches of closed cell spray foam in the rim joists. We also did an open blow of cellulose insulation to the flat of the attic and dense packed the slopes of the attic as well. This will help insulate the home so the warm air isn't escaping through the roof of the home.
