Foam It Insulation Before & After Photos

This home in Kirkwood, NY needed improved insulation in the basement.

Shown here is the rim joist.  As part of a larger project, the rim joist was sprayed with 2 inches of closed cell foam after removing the existing fiberglass.  This will contribute to reducing drafts and keeping the home more comfortable.

After the old insulation was removed and the attic was air sealed, 14 Inches of cellulose insulation was blown in.  This will improve the comfort of the home as well as decreasing energy usage.

After the old insulation was removed, 3 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the floor of the attic flat.  The home will now be both more comfortable and energy efficient as a result. 

The garage in Kirkwood, NY is in the process of being transformed into a bedroom for the homeowners daughter. The exterior walls had previously been insulated. All there was left for Foam It to insulate was the roof deck. We installed 3" closed-cell spray foam insulation to the roof deck and gable ends.
