Foam It Insulation Before & After Photos

The attic of this home in Binghamton, NY needed additional insulation.

The existing insulation was moved for air sealing then returned.  12 inches of new cellulose insulation was then blown in over that.  The result is a fully insulated attic and a more comfortable home.

In this case, 3 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed on the entire underside of the trailer.  This will make a big difference in making the home more comfortable and energy efficient.

Show here around the top edge of the foundation wall is the rim joist.  As part of a larger project, we sprayed 2 inches of closed cell foam on the rim joist.  Along with other aspects of the project, this will help reduce drafts and make the home more comfortable.
