Another attic being insulated with spray foam insulation. If this many homeowners are making the switch it must be a good choice right? Right! Spray foam insulation will air seal and insulate your home much more efficiently than a lot of the other insulating products on the market such as fiberglass.
Attics are usually simple as long as they are empty like this one was. Once you get into an attic that is being used as storage, it can take a little bit longer to clear it out and prepare it for the insulation work to be done. This job was fairly easy to do because the spray foam work didn't require much prep work or clean up work. We went in, spray foamed everything and came out with a nice looking job that will help the homeowner save money on their heating bills this winter and help them to stay much more comfortable than they ever were before in their home.
This homeowner had some fiberglass insulation, however it wasn't installed correctly. We removed the fiberglass insulation and used our closed cell spray foam on the ceiling to ensure a more even temperature experience throughout the home.
This customer was gutting out their basement and wanted to insulate the basement walls so they could finish it. 3 inches of closed cell spray foam was sprayed, then shaved so that sheet rock could be installed over it.
