This home in Lisle, NY was too hot upstairs in the summer.
The side attic seen here was part of a larger project. 3 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed on the roof deck and gable ends. Along with the rest of the project, this will contribute to making the upstairs cooler in summer, as well as reducing energy usage.
