A thank you letter from the U.S. Department of Energy and the Home Performance with Energy Star Program for Foam It Insulation’s application for the 2014 Housing Innovation Awards.
That year, the U.S. Department of Energy and the Home Performance with Energy Star Program received many applications that showcased extraordinary work by contractors across the nation dedicated to improving the lives of homeowners through energy efficiency programs.
Unfortunately, Foam It Insulation did not receive the 2014 Housing Innovation Award. Although Foam It Insulation demonstrated remarkable success in our market, the winning companies’ applications were slightly stronger.
Being nominated for this award meant that Foam It Insulation was among some of the top participating contractors in the Home Performance with Energy Star Program and we were commended for our work by Ely Jacobsohn, the Home Performance with Energy Star Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy.
